Katandra West Primary School provides an extensive education based on the Victorian Curriculum. The Victorian Curriculum includes eight learning areas and four capabilities. The learning areas represent distinct disciplines. The capabilities represent sets of knowledge and skills that are developed and applied across the curriculum.

At Katandra West, we believe in running programs that provide children with the foundations for achievement and social-emotional well being in school, work and the world of tomorrow. Alongside teaching the Victorian Curriculum, we also provide many extra-curricula activities such as Camps, Swimming program, Chess Club, Athletics, Cross Country, Bike Education, Life Education, Visiting Performances and an annual concert.
